I started playing piano at the age of 9, continuing on to earn my undergraduate degree in piano performance. I also pursued percussion, performing with the SOU Percussion Ensemble. I graduated from Southern Oregon University in 2019 with a Master’s in Interdisciplinary Studies, focusing on the areas of psychology and music. My thesis examines the role of musical training in emotion regulation, particularly in the use of music as a regulation tool.
